I thought 32FPS was the highest video records at but ive read a few places the S2 can do 60. How do i know if the camera is set to 60FPS or not? is it just a sertin video size that runs the 60FPS? or do all the modes run that fast?

Well the camera was in movie mode and i pressed the shutter button for the first one so i guess it was in auto mode. It says ISO auto, 1/200 and F5.6
The second one was a capture from the video going frame at a time till i got the still with the fire. Thats why this threads talks about video.
I shot 3 different videos this one had the right timming. Since the S2 records at 30fps there can still be skipped frames because the explosion is so fast. Shoot enough video your bound to get one that gets the right timming.
I never thought there would really be a need to have video on a digital camera till now. I can see where it can be handy for somthings like this.
