Hi
I've just come home from work to find my new Canon 350d has arrived!
Just put it together, however theres a real problem!
When I look through the viewfinder its as if i'm looking through a tunnel!!

I can barely see through it because of this, as the image im seeing is tiny!!

How do I fix this?! Is it a problem with the lens or camera itself?

Im so upset!

P.s. Its the standard lens i'm using.

Please help :(

The viewfinder of DSLRs always is small. With an APS-C sensor size camera it is even smaller, because it is the size of the sensor or film. Some DSLRs enlarge it a bit, like the Nikon D200. But the image will still be small. Just something to get used to, you will be ok with it in a week or two of use,

Ah yeah I understand that, but the whole thing has a black ring around the picture. You can barely see what you're supposed to at all! :(
I've used a few 350Ds before, and its never been like this!

Ok, that does sound like a weird problem. To be sure, go to store and check a 350D there... and check your right away outside to compare.

If it does have a problem, then contact the supplier... you can tell them then also that you checked it side by side with another 350D, so they can not give you trouble about that.
