http://www.qurio.com/product/photo-software.htmlKrishna...I say this in the most serious of ways...this is the single worst product/service I have ever tried in my entire life! It is so unsecure that it is scary. They expected me to open serveral ports on my firewall (ports that hackers are known to exploit) in order to use the service. In addition, the service NEVER worked. And, it hosed my registry which took hours to fix! I wish I had saved the emails they sent me. My dog knows more about internet security than they do! Beware! It's practically virusware...
IMO it's either so carelessly programmed as to be a joke or it's intentionally created as malware...either way...I strongly recommend that you don't do it!
Here's my post from right after I tried it: http://www.dcresource.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9163&highlight=worst

wow! Thanks JTL. Man what a lousy thing! Thanks for the post on that. I guess its foolish to post personal snaps on the web but will you believe that this was the first choice on Steves site?
Open ports! thats crap! Too good to be true.
BTW I saw a website call megaupload.com which allows one free uplpoads up to 250 mb as they are sponsored. I sent a file of 17 mb to my brother in law.
Basically you upload your file and they send a link to the other party who can download. Then they send you a link to delete that file so your 250 mb remains intact. Cool huh?
Krishna
That megaupload is a cool service.
BTW, I host my pics on Smugmug and they've been very good. Also, the selling/ordering via Smugmug has been hassle-free...they get a big "thumbs-up" from me! I know others here use them as well.
IMO, whoever recommends Qurio must be either nuts or one of their employees...
