Which camera do u recommend?
Rebel XT or D10?
Both are in the same price range now. I know, Rebel XT is newer, but D10 is more pro and hard builded.
Anybody can help me?
I've heard that IQ and Focusing are better on the XT.
The 1.3x crop is inticing, but with the advent of today's EF-S Ultra Wide's that's sort of a reversed benifit (making 1.6 same as FF as far as FOV is concerned for WA).
You can probably pick up a used 10D for a song. Just a guess.
Wasn't this question posted once already? Maybe on another site?
IQ and focussing are better, apparently.
My personal problem with the XT is that I find the controls are unpleasant to use, don't fall readily to hand and that the focus can be somewhat hit or miss. Also, unlike the Nikons, it doesn't have built-in full time AF assist.

Congrats on picking a very good brand of photography equipment. I am not sure what a D10 is but I do know what 10D is. And IIRC, it is at least a generation older than the XT. It's older DIGIC sensor is not as advanced as the XT's DIGIC II which is also found in the 20D, 30D, 5D...
If you can get over the compactness of the XT, then there is no reason to go with a 10D other than significant price savings.
It's a silly question...just get the XT and be happy...

And unless you mean the 1D, the 10D is not an 1.3x crop camera, as Vich thinks.

You are right Coldrain, I did think it was 1.3x crop. I see on the Canon site it is 1.6 crop. In fact, was confusing it with the first 1D, as you suspected.
Still, both 1D and 10D are a generation behind.
