I just had a poster sized print made today at work (officemax) from an image shot from my fz30. The picture is a portrait of my ladyfriend and myself with a black backdrop. It's a formal. It was printed on a canon w6400 imageprograf wide format. (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?A=details&kw=CAIW6400&is=REG&Q=&O=productlist&sku=389217) The print came out beautifully at 24 inches by 36 inches. I shot it at ISO 80 with studio lighting (umbrella and sunpak 383 anyways) in RAW. I applied no noise reduction and did some very light retouching to remove scratches on skin and one huge zit on my head that decided to crop up the day i took the shot. I otherwise left the image alone. Now i can first hand say that the fz30 makes a BEAUTIFUL 2x3 foot print. Granted you can see some grain but it's not NOISE, it appears in the print as film grain so i'm very pleased. Also, unless i get up and just look at my nose then i can't even see it at all. I will admit i wouldn't try doing that type of print with any iso higher than 80 or maybe 100 but with studio work, i don't have to. So anyways, just giving a first hand account of a monster sized print with the fz30 with great success. As soon as i can find a place to put the file i'll share the image with everyone. Happy shooting.
