Catch and release...

I have heard some talk about releases. At what point does one need to start considering chasing down people that you have just capture and have them sign a release? Is there a boilerplate template out there anywhere that can be customized easily??

Similarly, how do you guys get your copywrite/logos/signature on the corner of your pictures? Is that just PP??

To be careful, if you're going to use those images (where faces are recognizable) - especially commercially - you need a release. Even a shot of yourself will need your own release if you decide to sell the photo. I'd be careful shooting kids (minors) without prior permission.

as noyjimi said, for commercial use. crap i don't remember where to find that release form. i'm sure a simple google search will turn one up.

If concerned photographic legal issues, you should probably order a copy of this book...it's makes for some good reading...
