my 1st ever post - I think this is more a sofware issue than camera. I recently had to reinstal XP and installed the packaged software for our S2 IS. Since then any movies taken with the camera, when played back with window movie player or the Canon software, the images appear to be on fast forward and peoples voices sound like the chipmunks from the 70 & 80s. (If I playback the movies via the camera to the TV, then it appears fine)
Any suggestions?

i have that problem if i try and play avi threa winamp 2. Its like it has the wrong codec or somthing and cant play it correctly. What version of media player do you have? get version 10 and see what happens.

Yeah a mac, all the new mac commercials almost have me convinced i need a mac.
Whats funny is all the stuff they say the mac can do the PC has been doing for about 10+ years now.
