1st Question:
has/is somebody using one of the 1000mah batteries for a panasonic lumix DMC-FZ7?, How much longer does it last?, do you think its a good buy? (found one for $10:eek: :D )
2nd Question:
Can The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ7 recognize/use a 4GB SD?
(I check the manual and it only goes up to 2GB SD)

Q#1-Not using one but 1,000 mah is better than stock 750 mah, all things being equal. Best to ensure the battery meets the specs for voltage output, though as off spec batteries can be detrimental to the camera and would void warranty
Q#2- 2-GB max SD cards due to the file structure...

I can put any rating on a battery I wish.....I have not seen any battery better than the stock Panasonic battery and there have been many tests preformed on the so called larger capacity batteries and the results show they do not live up to the ratings.
Now I own 3rd party batteries and they work, but not as well as the original.
Are they worth 10 to 15 bucks ? sure they are ,but do not expect miracles.
