S2 repair question

I don't suppose if anyone knows if my S2 is worth repairing it fell and cracked and jammed the lens shaft. Not a scratch on the lens it will still playback photos, menu works I get an E18 error in shoot mode. Thanx in advance.

Ouch! What did it fall on? Concrete or something? I've heard that S2s can survive moderate falls. But as for fixing it (I'm no expert, so you shouldn't really trust me) it depends on how much it costs. My local camera store charges $150 just to LOOK at the camera, and more to fix it. If the rates are high like that, why not seize the oppurtunity and upgrade to an S3?
