Hi i just got my SD 700

i would like to get an sd card 4G

my question is would the sd 700 support it or not?

Funny enough, I own an SD700IS too, and I came upon the exact same SD card that you saw! I was just about to ask this same question! I hope someone can answer, because there's some good deals for 4GB cards, or I'll go down to 2GB.

P.S. At PriceGrabber, this one owner said that he/she put a 4GB card in their SD700IS and it worked fine. I'm kinda confused now!

I believe that you can't do a low level format of the 4 Gig card, it's limited to the 2 Gig cards due to the file system limitations. So it'll work fine, unless something happens and you need to do a low level format. At that point, I'm not sure what you would do.

b/c few people on the fourm say that 4g work on there s2 canon camera

b/c anything over 2g must me fat32

and i dont know if sd700 support fat32

How has your SD700 camera's been so far reliability wise? Anything to report? Has the battery life indicator worked as expected giving you roughly the expected battery time?

I too am looking forwards to reading the SD700IS review.

i didnt used it a lot but it work good nice pic i only have 16mb so i dont know how good the battery is i need bigger sd card so i could take more pic
