Hello, okay I know there are many indivisuals here who are very knowledgeble. And I'm sure you guys want to show off some of that knowledge (lol) Well I am new to the whole concept of digital cameras. Only pictures that i have taken digital are from my cell. So i want to reward myself and get a camera.

Budget : $400

Size: Size doesn't matter

Features: one that has continues shooting, records video, oh i can take pictures of moving objects without it going blurr. Such as a wave, or a person s hair moving with the wind.

General Usage: To take pictures inside,outside, family, landscapes. skylines (I need an introductory camera before I decide to purchase canon redel Rx)

It would help narrow it down if you chose a size prefence. Ultracompact, point and shoot, zoom? There are a lot of choices for the specs you gave.

Most cameras have continuous shooting and record video. Moving subjects without blur is harder. I think Fuji's are the best at that, such as the F10, F30, or S5200.
