Wow,
Noyjimi, that first picture is just simply stunning. It has this amazing dreamlike, magestic quality that is just so beatiful. It almost reminds me of a pastel painting, just so calm. The night one is really neat too, though it looks like wherever you are seems to suffer from a great deal of light pollution sadly. It might just be the long exposure though.
Wonderful work!
Any chance we could see a full-res version of that first shot? I think it is desktop worthy :)

Some very nice photos, although a few seem a little bit too "light" on my screen. It does make me wonder if they are all handheld photos? That would be the biggest plus of that lens of course, for photos like this. Very nice lens, clearly nicer than my Sigma.
i though i responded to this already but i guess i didn't
anyways what i thought i had already said was that those are some nice images. in particular, 1, 3, & 5
i know a lot of monitors (or is it the computer?) nowadays are factory set at very high brightness out of the box so it might come out a bit too bright/light to many viewer. looks fine to me though.
coldy, your gamma is properly calibrated or close, right?

Those are some great shots. For us still learning, would love to see some the efix data.

Thanks guys.
Andy, yes, but it's in St. Petersburg, officially. :D
krishna, the 17-55 is pretty good although these images were not taken with the main advantage of that lens (2.8+IS) - there was adequate light or I used a tripod. However, generally speaking, it has great resolution from center to corner, decent contrast (almost L-like), neutral colors (not quite L-like to my eyes), and I have had random flare and CA (although CA is much better than, say, 17-85).
Chrix, PM me your email and image size and I'll send you a high res.
coldrain, I can't really say as my monitor is not calibrated LOL. Sorry!
JMWallace, sorry about the missing EXIF - I use the Save to Web feature which strips it out. I'm not sure how helpful it is but for #1, it's ISO 100, F13, 10s. For #4, it's ISO 100, F5.6, 15s. My shrink says I have an irrational fear of high ISO.
