Hello ppl in one of the best forums around ;)

I'm facing a problem with my C-60z camera which i got a year and a half ago.

When I have it closed, the green led on the top of the camera besides the mode selecting dial and the shutter release button (shown here http://www.dcresource.com/reviews/olympus/c60z-review/camera-top.jpg (http://www.dcresource.com/reviews/olympus/c60z-review/camera-top.jpg)) keeps blinking. The camera seems to be working fine. I formatted the cards, swapped the battery with my extra one as well as the card with the 32MB which came with the camera but the problem remains. I think that if I leave the battery in the camera, the light will keep blinking till the battery runs completely out (maybe after a year or so :) )

you got any ideas you'd like to share?

First place I'd check is the troubleshooting section in the full user manual (usually only located on the Olympus CD. the print copy you have is an abbreviated manual) or possibly on the Olympus website. Hopefully, you'll find something like "green light blinks". I don't see much info on their website, so you may want to contact their support dept.

I've owned the C-50 Zoom, however I can't recall it having that LED light.

thank you for your reply.

i must admit that i searched the net but such info was nowhere to be found. i think i will contact the support dept as the FAQ sections of the sites i've checked didnt mention anything about the problem im facing.

should you happen to have any further ideas, please let me know :)
