KM invented wireless flash (I think). It's built into my 5D and the 7D. I just set up a KM flash or two, pop up my built in, change the mode of the built in to master, attach each slave to sync them to the master, and I have a wireless flash set up. This only takes about a 30 seconds to set up.

Thank you for the reply. An interesting article.
I still don't know if it is wireless radio or infared light.
On my 550EX it is infared and bright daylight renders it useless.
Thank you, Nicholas

Interesting... invented wireless flash did they? Do you know that for a fact?
Also, while the Canon dSLR's don't have this function built-in it has been available for many years. Nikon has had this function built-in and iTTL linked in all dSLR models except the D50. The D70 was introduced a couple of years ahead of the 5D.;)
