Fujifilm just announced it.

:eek: :eek: F30 VS Z3 maybe? :p

1/2.5" 5.1MP sensor
2.5" 230K screen
in Silver, Metallic Blue and Light Pink (O_o)
6th Generation SuperCCD
NP-40 battery (yuck)

Now if only Fuji would stop using their bottom of the pile xD card! :mad:

Dpreview got a story on it. Go read it!

The Z3 is cute, but from what I gathered in the article:

Less MP
Lower ISO
Smaller sensor
No manual controls

I think I will be sticking with the F30, although I do wish it was more stylish, had a battery charger and didn't use xD.:) JMO

No... Actually The Z3 is very much the same but with upgrades.

-All Z series (Z1,Z2 and Z3) are 5.1 MP

-LCD on Z3 is 2.5" at 230k pixels (Z2 had 232k)

-All Z cameras have the same size SuperCCD sensor : 1/2.5"

-ISO max has remained the same as Z2. (1600)

Sorry for the confusion. I was actually referring to the first post that was comparing the Z3 with the F30, not the prior Z series models.

Oh oh..LoL. ok. Yeah that makes sense.

Fuji's digicams are looking so promising, I might even ditch the idea of an dSLR in the future for the E900 + the 1.94x telephoto. Thats crazy how the E900 can shoot RAW. I guess it's not that beyond though, just don't compress the info from CCD and store it on the memory card right?

Back to Z3 vs F30. I just it really boils down to what camera are you looking to get? Z3 cannot really be compared to the F30. The lens, ISO. Z3 is an ultra compact that like...goes into your wallet beside your VISAs and AMEX. ;) .

so whats the difference between the Z3 and the Z2 now? because most of it looks the same :confused:
