I am going to buy one or two more compactflash cards for my new Canon Powershot A75. Does it matter what brand I buy? Lexar, Kingston, Scandisk, Simpletech, Viking? There is a difference in price but I know sometimes brand doesn't matter. How about with this?
TIA,
Kirsten

I've used many different cards - sandisk, lexar, fuji, lead data, danelec. I've never had a problem that wasn't solved by inserting the card properly.

In the past I have used Sandisk and Fuji and have never had any problems. The Ultra II cards from Sandisk look pretty hot :)

I use PQI, sandisk and Kingston in my G6 and as it isnt a write accelerated camera i am not too bothered about the card speed either as an 8x card is nearly as fast as a 40x one in it.

I've used a variety of CF cards in various devices, the only one that fell over on me was an Integra brand and the importer replaced it with a faster version. I was only using it as a backup so luckily no data was lost. I tend to stick to Sandisk mainly although they aren't the cheapest but offer a long guarantee in the UK.

PQI cards come with a 5 year warranty (UK) which isnt bad on such a good priced card.

Not heard of those in the UK.
