Hi
I watch a lot of motor sports and would like to get a camera appropriate for taking pictures of fast moving stuff!
I'm a complete novice but would like to get to eventually get to grips with manual settings.
The sort of cameras I've been looking at are the Canon Powershot S3 and the Panasonic FZ7. (Mainly because of the x12 zoom, general good reviews and having used a Powershot G2 a couple of times)
If anyone could advise me it would be appreciated. From the above two models you can get an idea of my budget - but if I'm barking up the wrong tree with my potential choices please say! :)
Also, any other advice for taking pics at motor sports events woud also be appreciated (i.e. extra equipment such as a monpod, or camera settings to get me started)
