It was cloudy with rain this afternoon, but when I looked out the window around 5PM, the sky was so blue I thought the clouds had gone away--but it was simply unusually blue clouds.

Both taken with Olympus E-300 and ZD 14-54mm, developed with Silkypix and tone-mapped with Photomatix.

Are you sure that Hayao Miyazaki wasn't in the neighborhood? Definately different. Gives the song Blue Skys a whole different meaning.;)

Does look surreal, no? I almost feel I should put a disclaimer on them to the effect that "no blue added."

I don't think so, at least not in such striking degree--which is what prompted me to grab the camera :)
