This camera is for my dad, and he's planning on ordering it tomorrow so it arrives before he leaves (Monday the 29th), so please respond as quickly as you can.
Budget
>=$350
Size
Canon A620 or smaller
Features
How many megapixels will suffice for you? 5
* What optical zoom will you need? The larger the better
* How important is “image quality” to you? 8
Do you care for manual controls? Not neccessary but nice addition
General Usage
* What will you generally use the camera for? Portraits and Scenery (Nature)
* Will you be making big prints of your photos or not? No
Will you be shooting a lot of indoor photos or low light photos? Yes
Will you be shooting sports and/or action photos? Yes
He got a TZ-1 already and has been playing around with it. He's not sure whether to return it for an A700 or keep it (Please suggest any other cameras you think might do him well) . He'll be taking lots of nature shots and so zoom and image quality are important. He likes manual controls since he's been using SLRs most of his life, but he's on the rocks over whether those are worth giving up image stabilization and 10x zoom for. Again, replies needed fast. Sorry for the rush.
