Is it worth fixing

Hi: I am a new member. I have a fuji S3000 that has a shutter speed problem. Any movement at all and the picture is blurred. I have tried both automatic and manuel settings to no avail. I need to know if there is a simple fix I can do myself or if it is worth sending to fuji for repair. It was a factory refurb and the warranty is now void. All comments or help is welcome.:)

Perhaps you could post some example pictures showing the problem? If you could say what exposure settings were used, and what the light conditions were, that could be helpful.
