Batter Leaking

I have a CoolPix 2200 because of leaking battery I can't turn it ON anymore.

Have anyone have any idea how to fix this problem?

Please describe in detail what physical damage you see as a result of the leakage, e.g., "green colored" junk on the terminals... cannot remove the battery, corroded parts, etc.

There are ways to clean this up, but if you provide me more detail, perhaps I can help you.
