I intend purchasing an FZ20 some time in the near future possibly this weekend, I have read the reviews about noise and am a little concerned although not excessively so.

I have heard people talking about firmware upgrades to reduce the minimum ISO to 50 from the current 80, has anyone heard anything from Panasonic or is this just a rumour?

If noise is a concern, go download a copy of Noise Ninja for $29. That should help when you need to use ISO400 (or even push to 800).

That 80 to 50 ISO reduction would make virtually no difference (or sense). Noise at lower ISO is not the problem with small sensored all-in-one cameras.

Have not seen anything yet. Check out the Panasonic (http://panasonic.co.jp/pavc/global/lumix/index.html) global site

Neat Image (free for demo and non commercial use) is good too.

George Riehm, I was just wondering how you push photos when they are digital?
