overwrite help

please help. using finepix viewer, and okayed to overwrite pics.werent the same pics and i want them back. anyone know how???????thanks

How much is it worth to get the pictures back? A computer data recovery specialist might be able to do it, for several hundred, possibly thousand, dollars.

Alternatively, there's a small chance that a skilled computer hacker (in the true sense of the word) might be able to use a disk sector editor to recover at least some of the pictures. To have the best chance of this, turn the computer off as soon as possible (Don't do a normal shutdown!) and leave it off until your hacker is ready to start. (There is a small chance of losing other data on the computer by doing this.)

These are fairly extreme suggestions. You might be best to just put it down to experience, like the time I didn't check my 35mm film was properly engaged on the take up spool, and the whole roll came out blank!:(

Well I'm not sure you can recover the pics but I setup my viewer to dump to a different folder each time I down loaded pics fromt he camera to avoid this situation.
