SD power consumption

I will be buying a 2GB SD card shortly for a Canon A700. I am considering the SanDisk Ultra II card. I don't see power consumption figures from Sandisk or Kingston. Only Lexar posts their power consuption figures. The other say "low power cunsumption" or the like. The marketing all seems to be around speed and capacity. Has anyone done a comparison of the power consumption of the various manufacturers? Thanks.

I don't think it's going to matter at all for battery life in your camera. If you use the LCD that power consumption is orders of magnitude more than the reading or writing the image to the cards. It may be an issue in other applications, but not in digital cameras.
