Having trouble deciding which to buy. Will be using for family photos (kids) and also for travelling.

I really like the idea of a 28 mm lens on the S60, but also like the swivel LCD on the A95. AA bateries on the A95 probably preferable to the S60, but then again they are also bulkier if I want to carry spares.

Other than that there is not much difference between them in terms of features.

I know S60 has RAW as well as JPEG, but I don't really understand when (or if) I would use that?

Any advice would be helpful

Thanks

RAW is not an issue for a family point-n-shoot as it requires editing each shot before viewing. With JPEG you can view instantly. In JPEG "Fine" you will see no difference.

Go with the camera you like.
