hi im new to photograghy,my question is my friend has a fuji s5100 it has
a sports mode on it,my new s5600 hasn't but it has a anti blur mode
would i use this mode to shoot sports ie athelete's running or football

Yes, anti blur mode tries to do everything possible to get a fast shutter speed, which will freeze a moving subject as well as freezing camera shake.
The downside to this is that it does this by increasing the ISO setting, which can increase the noise or 'speccles' in the picture, and by opening the aperture or 'F-stop', which reduces the depth of focus - though this can be good if you want just a particular subject in sharp focus and the background slightly fuzzy and less distracting.
In bright light you probably won't notice much difference.
When you get more used to the manual controls you'll be better able to make the decisions about these trade-offs yourself rather than leaving it to the camera firmware and so be better able to match the effects to the kind of picture you want to create.
