View Full Version : Sandisk Ultra II versus Sony Memory Stick Pro

I have a Sony DSC-W1 with a Sony Memory Stick Pro (512 Mbyte).
I am planning to buy a bigger memory stick.
The question is, which are faster, Sony Memory Sticks or Sandisk (Ultra II) or something else entirely.

Cant give a direct comparison.However I bought a sandisk ultra II for my DSC S40 and it has been fine.For movies(which for this camera is probably a good guide as to speed) it has performed faultlessly no stuttering or audio lag and the movie clips have been as long as I want them to be.No problem with stills.Cant say which is faster but you certainly wont have any problem with the Sandisk.
