I just finished my photogallery. You can see the result on http://prospero.cabspace.com. Besides the simpleviewer I created everything myself. The pictures have either been taken with my Nikon D-50 or with my Olympus C-450Z.

Thanks for looking. Comments are very much appreciated.

The layout looks nice, but it seems that some of the thumbnails at the very top are covered up by your gallery titles. For me as a dial up user it takes a little while for the dark covering over the thumbnails to roll back, could that be adjusted in the simpleviewer. Just a couple of observations, you have some nice photos there.

Thanks a lot for your comments, Rich.
I guess you have a screen resolution of 800x600? For the reason that I am using 1240x1024 myself, I sometimes forgot to make sure it could be displayed properly on a 800x600 screen. I will try to do something about this. Do you think it would be better if you had to scroll a bit to see the portrait images? Of course I could also make everything a lot smaller, but then it wouldn't be as nice to view it on a larger screen.

As to the dark covering going away to slow; the cause for that is that with your dial-up internet-connection it must take quite long to download the images. There's nothing in the Simpleviewer I can change to improve that (that is, not that I know of).

Thanks again for taking the time to look at my gallery. I'll try to make changes soon, I have some ideas on how I can make it better for users with 800x600, but it will take some time before I can implement it. I'll have to learn some more about websites first.

Nice job, you have great pictures on that. That photo viewer looks like a nice piece of software. If you are still sorting out the resolution stuff, 800 x 600 still cuts off the thumbnails, as does 1024 x 640. Above that- 1024 x 768, 1152 x 720, and 1440 x 900 looks wonderful.
