Canon Ixus 400

Hello,

Wonder if anyone can help?

I have an ixus 400 which when I set to "video" mode and press to start "filming" it only takes a photo as if set to picture mode. This was never the case and has only started doing this recently

Is this an inherent fault or due to "playing" with settings

Any advice would be appreciated
