After consuming about a month of our weekends and a few weekdays the wife and I finally completed the renovations from the storm. All work work done by us so at least no labor cost was involved. Offers a great place to chill out on these Hot days around here lately.

Very nice work Toney!
You guys worked hard on that porch and the yard, I can tell. Is that the last of the post-K renovations? [sigh]
Everything is looking good now - I bet gracey is thinking, "Finally, back to normal, now I can go pick out my favorite spots to lay!" :D

Thanks _ Yes thats the last major one we had. Laid 75 pieces of sod this past weekend where we lost all our big pines. LOL _ Grace loves it as much as us.
Just as a reference to the day after Katrina. Can't tell much from this shot but 75% of the screen was blown inward:

Looks like a great place to relax Dog; sounds like you could do with putting your feet up after what went through your town earlier.:(

I wish I had large pine trees around me. :(

Thanks Christian _ we chill out there on the weekends. An ice box with a few cold brews and some steaks sure beats run around town burning $3.00 gallon gas.

Thanks too Obi but trust me on this I'm totally glad all my big pines are gone.

The same thought crossed my mind - They are beautiful - but when they come down - they can ruin every other thing of beauty around them! ;)
