what are the best filters for digital camera's right now i have hoya but the one's in the green package aka cheap one's lol is there any difference with better one's if so i want to get new one's any suggestions for uv filters nothing thats too much money something around $50-70 :) thanks for any help

B+W and Tiffen are good solid brands. A Circular Polariser is probably the most useful filter in the bag these days.

If you must use a filter (I only use one for creative effect - my lens cap is my "protective" filter) then I'd suggest going HQ to reduce ghosting/flair etc.

I saw a test sample of Tiffin versus Hoya filters and the Tiffin filters looked horrible beside the Hoya.
