After using my new A520 for about a week, and half filling my Kingston 256mb SD card the playback mode failed . When selected the green LED top left of the viewfinder flashes for 3 seconds then the camera shuts down. I was then unable to review delete etc any images , As I was on a holiday of a lifetime I carried on taking shots hoping the camera was recording the images. Afterwards I put the card into a friends camera and the images were all recorded. Having problems with the lens covers sticking as well I wouldn`t recommend buying this camera .:(
