I bought a Canon Powershot A620 and i thought it was an awesome camera until i actually took a few pictures. I liked the my colours feature, the 7.1 mega pixals, the rotating lcd screen, and the pict bridge features but when i took pictures they were blurry. i had a 3 mega pix Kodak that took better pics. i went and bought a canon selpy thinking it would go good with my camera, i like the printer but the prints were unsatisifying. does any one have a better canon camera that would suit my needs. i want a camera that will take good pics using the auto setting, but give me others options i can try later. also i found even with the red eye reduction on i always had red eye. i need a new camera pronto.

As you can see from the review of for instance Jeff Keller here, the A620 does not take blurry photos. Can you post a scaled down example here, to understand whet your problem is? Also, the small thermal Canon selphy printers actually print very very well.... So why what you are seeing again is a bit of a mystery. So, please post some scaled down pics or some 100% crops so we can understand why the photos are blurry.

unfortunately i took my camera back today as it was the last day i had to return it and all the pics that were blurry i did not keep. i just found that kids eyes were always red even with red eye reduction on, and when i tried taking pics of kids even with kids and pets option was blurry maybe it was a fault in camera or of my own. i just found with my kodak most pics were good quality. i just wanted more shooting options that is why i went with the canon. i wanted to be able to take pics without editing them on computer, just printing them on my selphy and being happy with the prints. i know that panasonic has a image stablization feature my friend is raving about do any canon cameras have that feature? and can i fix red eye before i print on my selphy without going through the computer?

There are quite a few PC programs that can take care of teh red-eye. Picasa form google is free and does the trick well.
