I just received an S2 that I bought on Ebay - all is well, EXCEPT there is no left audio channel during video. It's dead - only some hiss. However, if you take a snapshot during video mode, the camera click in the middle of the video is audible on both left and right channels. I get with the same results on my PC as well as connecting to a VCR/TV.
Anyone else have this? I'm new to the camera but I don't think there is a mono / stereo audio setting - even if there were a mono mode, there should still be sound in the left channel.
Perhaps the left mic is toast?
