The obligatory family pictures. After that, I really like to be out in nature someplace, taking landscapes, scenery, etc.

Yeah... that's "mood photography". Unfortunately, I can't seem to stay behind the camera very long. (LOL... yeah, I can wish. ;) )

Right now, I'm having a great deal of fun with model or 'table top' photography. While similar to macro, it involves a bit more lighting options and a wide variety of prime lensing, to maintain the sharpness, and a carload more room!

I can see the EF 180mm f/3.5L Macro USM in my future... but I having a devil of a time seeing the $1400.00 it'll take to get it.

I suppose it may come from my inability to deal with people... the solitude... the focused effort... oh well... forget the modeling studio... no patience. They usually won't pose one way or another... and I don't want to have to waste time to argue. The "non-organic" models don't offer any emotional opposition, rarely get 'tired' and simply stay the way ("Hold that pose.... little bit more... little bit mo...") you want them to, until YOU move them. :p

Remember, whatever type of photography you do decide on:

GET THE SHOT! :D

Portraiture and people photography. I find landscapes and scenes a bit boring. Possibly because the coffee table mags are full of it.
People however are all different and getting the essence of humanity is a real challenge.
