Canon A700 Question

Hi. Can anyone tell me how to get a live histogram for the Canon Powershot A700 please, assuming it is possible. The instructions were a little vague in this department. Or even if someone could tell me how to do this with the A540 as I believe the cameras are basically the same. Thanks a million.

I have the A540. As far as I can tell the Histogram function is only available during playback. It is only mentioned in the "Playback Information" part of the manual. Press the "DISP," button a few times to show maximum details about the picture.
