So how hard is it to get the teleconverter off now?

Yeah i do have some pictures.

I glued the teleconverter and the adapter together so its like a single unit like an SLR lens. I kinda wanted to make a couple different ones like an SLR. One that is telephoto, one wide then one telephoto with a filter. It helps protect the stock lens.

how good is the picture?

It's tough to find a decent teleconverter for a superzoom. Except the overpriced manufacturer tcons

aside from that, your S2 appearance is sure real good!

Yep it sure does look good, I hope it works as well. The teleconverter I use on my KODAKs is the OLYMPUS TCON-1.7 part number 200862. It works oustanding for under $100. bucks.

Not sure about the look but the bottom line is what are the pictures like? With a non standard lens that length including a teleconverter wont there be problems with exposure, vignetting etc?

The camera is 36-432mm stock. It does give some vignetting if its not all the way zoomed in. Its not an SLR i realize that.

Here are some pics i took with this teleconverter.

The left is the stock zoom, right is with this converter. Its not an olympus i think the brand is "sakar" its made in china. Its a 58mm adapter and the converter is 58 to 62 so its about as big as you can get for this camera i think.
