ok, so I recently purchased a Casio Exilim S600, and a 2GB Sandisk memory card. The other night I was playing around with it, figuring out the features, seeing how the movies/pictures came out, etc. While recording movies I was getting card errors at random times (some movies lasted 20,25 mins, others only 1,2 mins.) I figured reformatting the memory card would solve the problem. I tryed using the camera to do this, but to my horror it reformatted my 2GB card to 990MB. I then tried to reformatt again using the drive in my computer, this led to the same results, 990MB. After this I got on sandisk's website, and found the exact problem in FAQs (found here (https://www.customernation.com/pls/ps/ps_faqdb.view_faq?p_host=304&p_retailer=&p_supplier=5096&p_subcat=&p_subcategory=2344&p_product=14496&p_citizen=&p_reg_id=&p_faq_id=1256&p_start=1&p_end=21&p_current=&p_crm_log=&p_agent_id=&p_sn_subcategory=&p_sn_product_group=&p_sn_product=&p_faq_category=&p_faq_subcategory=&p_sup_faq_id=&p_word1=&p_word2=&p_word3=&p_word4=&p_word5=&p_word6=&p_word7=&p_word8=&p_word9=&p_word10=&p_word_count=&p_include=&p_parm=PSHFAQ&p_supergroup=)) Now I get down to step 5, but I have no settings tab, so therefore I cannot uncheck "INT 13". If someone could help me out with this, or tell me of another way to reformat my card so that I will have use of the full 2GB that I paid for that would be greatly appreciated. I am using Windows XP Tablet Edition, and have all of the service packs. Also I contacted Sandisk via their online help desk three days ago and they have not gotten back to me. Thank you for your help, I hope I can become a contributing part of this communitee:)

ok I was reading some posts here, and think I figured out the reason for card errors. I think that the buffer ran out of memory, and had to write that information to the card before it could record more. I was recording in HQ 640x480 so there's a good chance of that happening. But this still dosent solve the problem of reformatting my card. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again

Well I guess I should have done some more reading before posting. I found a guy that had the same problem as me with a 1GB card being reduced to 512MB, I'm reading through that now, I'll see if that helps, keep you posted.

Well I feel like I"m talking to myself, but that's alright. If I had just read and serached before I posted I wouldn't have this problem:) . Anyways on the other post it said to use cfdisk. I was wondering how you access this. (I also posted this on the other post, just dont want anyone to type something when the information is in another post already. Thanks, and sorry for dragging this out
