Hello all,
I'm wondering if anyone can help me? I operate in a studio environment and need a digital camera with "remote Viewing".

I want to view the actual digital camera image on the computer monitor
in real time, so I can change lighting, and position of the subject,
while looking at what the camera sees, before I hit the remote shutter release.

None of the experts at the camera stores
or even at the manufacturers 800 numbers seem to know if this can be done,
but I have been looking to buy any digital camera
that is capable of this type of "remote viewing"
and while working in the studio, the camera should not
"automatically turn itself off" and lose the remote image over time.

Thank you :)

Look at Canon powershots that offer RemoteCapture and that can be used with a powersupply. Those will offer what you are looking for, I think.
