I'm tentatively planning on ordering a Sony W50 in the next few days. I'd like to get a 1 GB memory stick at the same time. The camera will be used for shooting some video clips. Some may be quite long, perhaps up to the capacity of the stick.
I see Sandisk 1 GB Pro Duo sticks available for about $50 (newegg, mwave, etc.) The provided info doesn't give read/write speeds.
With a W50 would I see much performance increase by coughing up extra $$ for something faster than the standard Sandisk Pro Duo? If so, what should I look for?
