could anyone tell me the best settings to use for printing 4x6 and 5x7.
Using the Canon Power Shot A-95.

What do you mean by "settings"? Do you mean what resolution setting? If so, use the highest so you start with a large enough file in case you want to crop. You lose quality when you upsize from small but you don't lose quality when you downsize from large.

NP. I always shoot largest to be on the safe side.
