it's April! where is the SD700?!

does anyone know the day (or week) the Powershot SD700 will be released?

http://dc.watch.impress.co.jp/ says that sd700 will be released the same day as the a700: 14th April! So another week to go :)

i guess the sd700 is released in Japan already because i see some selling on ebay, but with the "IXUS 800 IS" brand on it. maybe i should wait for the Sony Cybershot DSC-T30. the T30 has 7.2 MP and a 3" LCD. it also has it's own verson of an optical image stabilizer. best of all, it will be the same price as the sd700.

Amazon has it listed as being released May 20. Not sure if this is a general release date, or if specialty stores would get it any sooner. I've had my eye on this camera for a while too. I think I check this site at least twice a day to see if it's been added to the "Upcoming Reviews" section. :D

On the Circuit city website, the SD700 is there for $500 and the A700 is on sale for $308. Best Buy has neither, not even the A540 yet. What's their problem?
