Nikon coolpix 5700 vs panasonic dmc-fz20

why i should buy or why i should'nt buy.

look on here for the reviews...they will give you in depth detail also check out the sample pictures of each camera from many sources. The FZ20 is an awesome camera...nice zoom, image stabaliztion , but it has an above average noise in the pictures (from what I hear) thats the only thing that holding me back from getting it, also the sony dsc-f717 has probably the best image quality for the price, but no image stabalization.

These can only help you make your decision :) , it is one area that can be very personal and as such the best thing to do is to get your hands on both and try for yourself, most shops will let you handle/try numerous models.
