Many postings include the insert of a "snip" of a line, or paragraph of text from the posting that they are commenting about so that it is much easier to see the relevance of the comment they're making ( I hope i made that clear).

How is this done please?

Like this? There are basically two different ways to do it - if you look at a thread before hitting the "Post Reply" button you will notice that there is a "Quote" button underneath each post in a topic. If you click this on the post you want to "snip" or "quote" then it will include the entire post that they have made, and you can edit it from there.

Otherwise there are also board codes that you can use if you just want to type it out manually or copy and paste. To start this you put [ QUOTE=Username] without the space and then what you want to show up inside of the quote. When you are finished doing a quote and want to type your own response, you end it with [/ QUOTE], again without the space marks.

Hope that helps!
