I'm thinking of getting a new, very thin, digital camera. I'm not too impressed with the kodak one I have now and it's a brick (old 3MP camera). I've looked at these 4 models constantly on several sites, they all seem good and very similar. Panasonic seems to have limited/bad warranty's though. Besides taking good pictures overall (duh) I really need:
1. Good pictures in low light (think bar atmosphere)
2. Anti-shake technology (going on African Safari for college)
3. Good battery life
4. Small
5. Use SD (Sorry xD and Sony...I already have many SD cards)
6. 300ish dollars max
Looking at (in order that seems the best value):
1. Casio z60 249.99 list price
2. Canon sd450 $250 or so (I like the viewfinder)
2..Casio Z600 299.99 list price
4. Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX9K or FX01 (Screen cracking problems worry me)
Thanks! I have no problem with cell phones, satellite radio, etc. but so many of these cameras seem so alike. It's overwhelming!
