Budget

* What budget have you allocated for buying this camera? Please be as specific as possible.

Less than $500, but preferably in the $300 range

* What size camera are you looking for? Or does size not matter at all to you?

I don't want a huge camera with an external lens sticking out of it, but it doesn't neet to be ultra-compact, either
Features

How many megapixels will suffice for you?
5.1

* What optical zoom will you need? (None, Standard = 3x-4x, Ultrazoom = 10x-12x, Other - Specify)

at least 3x

* How important is “image quality” to you? (Rate using a scale of 1-10)

10, but I usually don't print anything bigger than a 4x6

Do you care for manual controls?

doesn't matter

General Usage

* What will you generally use the camera for?

pictures of people, buildings, and indoors

* Will you be making big prints of your photos or not?
no

Will you be shooting a lot of indoor photos or low light photos?

yes

Will you be shooting sports and/or action photos?
not too much

Miscellaneous

Are there particular brands you like or hate?
I would like to buy Sony b/c I get a discount, but I really don't mind which brand.

Are there particular models you already have in mind?
I was looking at these Sony cyber-shots:
DSC T5
DSC W30
DSC T9
DSC N1
(If applicable) Do you need any of the following special features? (Wide Angle, Image Stabilization, Weatherproof, Hotshoe, Rotating LCD)

none

Also, I pretty much want a point-and-shoot camera that produces good-looking 4x6 prints. I don't want anything with AA batteries, as I prefer the lithium rechargables. I have been using a Fuji FinePix A205, and find the images blurry very often, which is part of the reason that I am willing to splurge on a new camera. Thanks for any help!

imetmadonna-

Because you indicate that you will be taking a lot of low light level and indoor photos, why not take a look at the Fuji F-10 (here in the USA), F-11 (if you are in Europe), and the soon to be introduced (MAY) Fuji F-30. Those cameras are withing your budget and will be the best to deal with those low light level and indoor shots.

One thing I'm worried about is the red-eye. Do you know of any cameras in this $250-$300 range who are good in low light and don't have a ton of red-eye problems? Thanks!
