Hi, at the moment I have a basic digital compact with manual settings however i would like to advanced to a better camera to take better quality pictures. I have been set on purchasing a nikon D50 as everyone seems to agree on it as a good entry level dSLR.
However I have noticed a lot of prosumer cameras seeming to have better specifications for a cheaper price. A prosumer I was looking at was Konica Minolta Dimage A200.
I was wondering which woud benefit me more, the SLR with seemingly lower specs but higher ISO range or the prosumer with higher megapix, image stabilisation and cheaper overall price? Thanks for your help :)
