Now that I finally have the 30D I really want to learn more about the technical stuff that will help me take better photos. I vaguely know the terms and what they mean but don't quite have a grasp on it all yet. I played around a lot with my Canon G2, know quite a bit of photoshop and fiddled around with the raw conversion settings in there too, though I didn't really know what it was that I was doing exactly.

What I'm looking for is resources (web sites, books, ....) on
- photography/SLR info on f-stops, ISO etc etc and how to use them in which situation and why
- info on how to use the features of a DSLR such as histogram and specific settings for the best shots
- info on raw processing (not the basic computer connect/transfer stuff, the more detailed things about raw import settings and what they do and how to use them).

Any ideas/web sites/book titles are appreciated.

These guys do a pretty good job of explaining individual cameras and hints on how to get more from the camera as well. I have the e-books on the CP990 and the D70. Both very good. They also have an e-book on the 20D which will cover 99% of the 30D.
