hey guys i just bought a D50 and im noticing i NEEd to buy a LCD protector but they dont make one special for the D50 any suggestions on wat to get?:) Also any other suggestions on accesories would be appreciated
The D50 already has a fairly substantial LCD protector built into the bodywork of the camera. Why do you "need" something better than the one fitted by Nikon?

Maybe wants to save from scratching the monitor? I was worried about that also but thought, WTH, use it and try not to abuse it, they should be made to last for the money these days, but then again, so should automobiles,

wait it has one sorta built into the body? o so then why dont the other cameras have them like that:rolleyes:
You would have to ask camera manufacturers that question.
You can buy third party external protectors if you want to. Some people swear by them but I suspect that most D50 users don't bother.
I use a sheet of PDA screen protector cut to shape fitted over my LCD it stop minor marks and scratches. It can be changed when it gets disfigured and cost all of about 10 cents.

I found some screen protectors at comp usa that are for the palm treo (I think) that are very nearly the correct size they cover about 98% of the glass surface including the black frame with the Nikon text. So the display area is covered for sure. They also knock down some of the screen glare in bright light.
