S2 Is

Just ordered the S2 IS brand new for $299. I was going to wait for the S3 but it didn't seem worth the extra $200. The only major differences I see between the 2 is the new ISO speeds, bigger LCD and the 1mp difference, other then that they seem to be the same. Let me know if I did the right thing. Other cameras I have had are the A60 and A75. I wanted an ultra zoom for air shows.

I was gonna buy mine there too, but they said they had a 3-4 week backorder on it, I'm very impatient, so I bought it at the stapples for $399, there's a discount if you buy a printer with it. Best Buy has it for $379, that's about the most reliable and best prices I could find.

rawpaw18, thanks for your message. I really appreciate you write to me again. I hadn´t check your link. Is "Infiniti Photo" the same as "BestPriceCameras.com"? Are all that messages (I just read the first two pages) about but experiencies with BestPriceCameras.com? If so, I can tell you I will never ever think about making bussiness with them. I will pay more at Amazon where I have not had problems at all.

I ordered from bestpricecameras:mad: they called me Monday while I was at work. I have been trying to call them for the last 2 days and they have not returned my calls. I will probably cancel my order with them and just got to Ritz in the mall and pay the extra $100.

I just got a hold of them this morning and I canceled the order. They told me it would be about 5 weeks before I would get the camera. I'm going to go out to walmart this morning and get it for $360.

Ok just went out looking for it. Ritz says they are out of stock and fly off the shelves when they come in. I went to Wal-Mart, out of stock, then I went to target and they had a few, so I bought it at Target. I took a few pics and I'm very impressed with the S2. It has many of the same functions of my A75 so I can jump in and take some good pics. Here are 2 that I just took of my dog.

Both at 12x, 1/500, 5.0, ISO 50
